We recently developed formulas for similar stains which model builders who have used them say are virtually identical in color to the old stain. Normal use is to color scale lumber in a natural wood color without having the painted look.
It is also used to seal cast plaster structure kits for the natural wood color or used to seal cast plaster brick and stone structures to give the mortar color to the walls then the individual stones are stained to the desired color.
Dealers can buy this for resale in their stores in boxes of 6 - 1 oz. bottles (dealers Email us for an order form and a list of generous dealer terms).
Suggested retail price for a 1 ounce glass bottle (2 oz. for thinner) has been set at $4.99.

This is a petroleum derived product and is very volatile and flamable and should be used with care. While no more dangerous than other commercial wood stains, the VAPORS should be considered HARMFUL and should only be used in a well ventilated room. They contain traces of chemicals that have been found in heavy doses to cause cancer and birth defects in lab animals.
